Responsible for the effective execution of assigned Subcontract Management services and support to the region, operating group and/or growth platform as required
Works to drive and execute best practices consistently across the business units covering sourcing, contracting and managing the major subcontractors.
Works closely with other groups (Legal, Procurement, Alliances, and assigned business unit) to execute the Subcontract Management processes across sourcing, contracting and delivery management
Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to resolution, triggers internal escalation process
Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrates expertise in subcontractor management
Strong depth and breadth of knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principles
Ability to effectively communicate with subcontractor executives at all levels of the organization
Ability to resolve complex contracts and pricing issues
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but may be substituted with relevant experience.
Membership in the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM), National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or Royal Institute of Charterned Surveyors and professional certifications is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Minimum 8 years work experience
