Sr.Specialist Engineer (Standards/Specifications) Job

--- Acts as Company’s ultimate technical authority and advisor on the application of standards and specifications.

---    Provides guidance and advice on the availability and relevance of standards, codes of practice and engineering specifications

for all disciplines

---- Reviews consultants and contractors proposals to ensure that the appropriate standards and codes are referred to

---- Keeps custody of and interprets the Shell DEPs in liaison with Shell.

---- Updates the specifications based on lesson learnt and the Discipline Forums recommendations.

---- Coordinates  the tasks for standarisation of typical design packages.

Minimum Qualification, Knowledge, Skills an Experience

B.Sc.in Engineering.

15 years design  experience of which 10 years should be in a senior engineer position in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledge/experience with the Shell DEPs would be an advantage.

Fluency in English

Good communication, coordination, reporting and presentation skills.
