Undertakes specified tasks/ areas of work within a discipline, as defined by the Group Lead Engineer or Principal Engineer.Supports and reports to Group Lead Engineer/ Principal Engineer.Capable of supervising and checking the work of Junior Engineers as delegated by the Group Lead Engineer/ Principal Engineer.Responsible for communicating technical/ project issues potentially impacting the project to the Group Lead Engineer/ Principal Engineer.

2.Primary Duties
A)To be technically responsible for an area of work for the delivery and supervision of specific project deliverables for pipelines group.
B)Develops and produces technical deliverables including but not limited to: Basis of Designs, Philosophies, Specifications, Routing Studies, Mechanical Design, Material Selection, Corrosion Protection, Stress Analysis, Layouts, Drawings, Datasheets, and Technical Requisitions & Bid Evaluations as delegated by Group Lead/Principal Engineer.
C)Sufficiently competent to review and check work carried out by junior engineers, as delegated by Principal Pipeline Engineer.
D)Supports the Group Lead & Principal Pipeline Engineer with Technical Bid Evaluations. Reviews vendor documentation and comments to ensure design conformance.
E)Ensures equipment compatibility and conformance with client specifications and requirements.
F)Ensures compliance with company’s ISO Quality procedures.
G)Performs related duties as and when instructed by Group Lead/Principal Engineer.

Duties essentially performed in Sharjah Project Office. Required to travel to Client’s offices, Vendor Workshops, and attend site visits as necessary, in accordance with project requirements.
8.Minimum Requirement
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (typically Mechanical or Civil), Chartered Status, and related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry. Experience and exposure to Middle East working practices beneficial.
