Logistic Analyst / Supply Chain Consultant Job

As a member of CEL Consulting Asia, you will work as a logistic analyst for a supply chain survey mission. The mission is to last one month and is extendable further. The two main aspects of the mission are:

1.     Field survey

As a facilitator, you will support the project manager into arranging and performing visits and interviews.

Your knowledge of the country and the logistic activity in Indonesia is a plus as you will have to be an active translator:

-        Get from the people we meet the right information

-        Use your own understanding of the matter to be relevant for both parties.

2.     Cost modelling

Working preferably on Excel, you will have to collect, arrange, check, analyze and interpret data from different sources (contacts, suppliers, interviews, visits, etc.).

You will make the necessary assumptions and calculation to determine the cost of different logistic scenarios.


Profile

*** Only Indonesian Profiles are required

-        Experience in logistics/supply chain, ideally in dry bulk industry (grain/coal/cement...)

-        Engineer or business with major or minor in logistics/supply chain

-        Indonesian native

-        Fluent English with logistic and industrial vocabulary

-        Fast Indonesian-English translator

-        Proficient with Pack Office (Excel & Powerpoint)

-        Analytic mindset, solution finder

-        Curious and open-minded

-        Comfortable with contacting and meeting people

-        Mobile over Indonesia

If successful the mission may be prolonged about 2 more months. Also, we may have further development for this particular client or other projects of interest in Indonesia.
