Knowledge of ship preservation and upkeep methods and procedures
Experience in managing personnel
Experience in rig towing and movement operations

Duties Management
Attend daily staff meetings with all department heads to plan daily operations, take requests, and get equipment and crew organized.
Daily report on weather, balance of stock/inventory on board and tank loads.
Calculate, evaluate, and record and/or report as often as necessary the changing load conditions to ensure that the unit’s design criteria is maintained within the load limits in either the operating, survival or floating condition.
Complete the proper documentation to dispose of waste materials, and monitor hazardous material and waste stowage on the rig.
Complete various administrative functions.
Keep abreast on rules and regulations of the country of operation.
Ensure compliance with company policies that fall within job scope.
